Instructions for the Best and Easiest Pegboard Jewelry Display

Watch this video for the full tutorial.

Supplies needed with suggested links:

  1. 4 pieces of pegboard measuring 24" x 32" each  (you can get 6 identical pieces this size cut from a large 4' x 8' sheet at a hardware store) ($12)
  2. Paint --Use something you already have or buy "oops" paint ($free)  I rolled on wall paint with primer in it.  I heard spray paint was messy, and you'll have to do that outside.
  3. 4 Pipe and Drape hooks (or 8 of these instead of #4)
  4. 4 S-hooks (I bought mine at Wal-Mart -- the pkg says HI-77, QTY 4, #6(.192) guage x 1-3/4") ($2)
  5. Wardrobe rack (2-tiered from Walmart - Mainstays brand) ($15)

  • What is the easiest way to take down and pack the pegboard display for travel? TIA

After you take the panels off the wardrobe rack, I like to stack a bunch in a row. I even often put them onto a suitcase roller to bring them into the party or event. I don’t even try to use the roller if I have stairs to deal with. Some people screw on a handle or tie one on made of ribbon or rope. 🙂

Hey Lisa! Thanks so much for the display tutorial! Can you post a link to the hooks on Amazon? Also, these pipe and drake hooks completely replace the S hooks in this display now, is this correct? I am hurriedly buying supplies for an upcoming craft show. Thanks!
